X7R / X7S X7R and X7S dielectric materials are class II ceramics with high dielectric constants. The temperature variation of capacitance associated with the X7R material is ±15% from -55°C to 125°C and the temperature variation of capacitance associated with the X7S material is ±22% from -55°C to 85°C.

X7R and X7S dielectric chip usage covers the broad spectrum of industrial applications where known changes in capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable.
X5R
X5R dielectric is a Class II type dielectric suitable for higher capacitance applications. This dielectric offers high volumetric efficiency. Small case size X5R capacitors are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications in mobile devices, medical devices and other applications with size constraints.
